Start with a place so the office can check availability

To reserve a Kansas City airport transfer, start with three answers: the place, which way and the day. Choosing the place brings up its sedan and SUV from figures, per car, each way; the written reply says whether a company has a car on that day.

Sedan and SUV figures for every place are on the fares page.

CE Travel Services is an independently owned booking office in Kansas City. It asks local car companies for a fixed rate on your ride and emails you one; the company you accept drives you and takes your payment, and it pays the office an agreed amount per booking.

This is where you reserve a Kansas City airport transfer: a private car from your own address to MCI, or from MCI back to that address. Before you say yes, a local car company sends its fixed rate for the ride in writing, so the figure is settled while you are still deciding. Pickups and drop-offs cover 40 places on both sides of the state line, from Platte City and Liberty north of the river to Olathe, Lee's Summit and Raymore south of it.

Service areas: the Northland, Downtown and Midtown, Johnson County and KCK, Lenexa and the west, Independence and Lee's Summit, and Blue Springs and the south, 40 places in all.

Call +1 (816) 842-4783 Monday to Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. or Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Central time.

The request form takes requests 24/7. Requests that arrive while the phone is open get a written answer within two hours; the rest are answered by email by 10 a.m. the next morning, weekends included.

Six approaches, five bridges

Where you start picks the bridge

MCI stands north of the Missouri River. From the Northland the car crosses no river; from anywhere south of it the car takes one of five bridges, and your starting point decides which. That bridge sets the road miles and the minutes on the way. Each card below prints the sedan from figure for every place on it, per car, each way.

At the evening rush, a downtown Kansas City airport transfer to MCI runs about half again as long as its quiet-hour time.

A wide painted crosswalk on wet asphalt at night leads to a long lit concrete canopy beside a curb, with a glowing building behind

Coming home

Down one level, across one crosswalk

On a ride home, take the elevator, escalator or stairs from baggage claim to the lower Arrivals level. Step outside and use the crosswalk to the Commercial Curb, where prearranged cars pick up at posts 3J to 3N on the 2026 airport map, which may change. If you ticked the call and text box, the company texts you once the car is there; without the tick, that word comes by email, and only the driver uses your number, on the day of the ride. Your written fare names how long the driver waits after your flight lands and what waiting past that costs.

Asking for a meeting inside at baggage claim is covered on the airport pickup at the arrivals curb at MCI page.

Before your yes, and after you land

What a place's figure covers

  • The drive itself, to MCI or home from it, for your party alone
  • The fuel, from first mile to last
  • The wait after landing that your written fare names

Lines a written fare may add

  • A gratuity or a second stop, each priced on its own line
  • Waiting past the named time, and an airport trip fee if a company adds one
  • A child seat when the company charges for it; you may bring your own instead
What does the from figure beside each place cover?

It covers the drive itself for the whole car, sedan or SUV, each way, and it marks where a fare for that place starts. Your own amount depends on the car, your street address and the pickup time, and the car company's written fare names it. All 40 places stand in one table of airport transfer rates to MCI per car.

Who do I pay for the ride, and when?

You pay the car company that drives you, directly, on its own terms, and it hands you its receipt. Sending a request costs nothing and no card is asked for on this site. The office's share comes from that company as an agreed amount per booking, so it never appears as a line of its own on the written fare you read.

What happens if my plans change before I say yes?

Write back, or call while the phone is open, and the office puts the new day, time or car size to the companies again. Until your yes a request is only a question: you may drop it at any point and owe nothing. After your yes, the company's own cancellation terms, printed in the written fare you accepted, decide what follows.

How do I find my car after landing at MCI?

Put the flight number on the request so the company can follow your landing, and keep the phone you named switched on. Collect your bags, head down to the lower Arrivals level and cross to posts 3J to 3N. The arrival message reaches you by text if you ticked the box, by email if not, and the driver may phone about the pickup that day.

Second half of the form

Then the rest of the request

Six required fields finish it: the flight time, the street address, how many people ride, your name, a phone number and an email for the written fare. The flight number is optional, yet with it the company can follow your landing.

Call +1 (816) 842-4783 Monday to Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. or Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Central time.

Time, street, people, contact

The form takes a request 24/7, and a written reply, a fixed rate or a plain note that no car is available, comes back by email before anything is reserved in your name.

Free quote, no obligation: the car company's fixed rate comes back in writing before anything is booked, and no card number is asked for. Sending this asks the office for a written fare from a local car company and, once you say yes, to reserve the ride with that company; nothing is held in your name until that company confirms it to you in writing. Sending accepts the terms of a request and the privacy page.

Four steps

How a reservation moves from form to curb

  1. You send the request

Give the place, the day, the flight time and the car you need. The office reads it and puts the ride to local car companies, asking which one can take it on that day and at that hour.

  2. A fixed rate in writing

A fare from one company reaches you by email as a fixed rate for that ride. Anything beyond the drive, such as a second stop, a child seat or waiting past the time the fare names, gets its own line that you see before you answer.

  3. Your yes, its confirmation

Reply yes and the office passes the booking to that company, which confirms the pickup to you in writing. Until that confirmation arrives nothing is reserved in your name, and before your yes you may withdraw at any time and owe nothing.

  4. Ride day, in either direction

On a ride to MCI the car comes to your address and leaves you at the departures curb on the upper level. Coming home it meets you at the Commercial Curb. Either way you pay the company directly and get its receipt.

Anything the four steps leave open

Paying, holidays, child seats and places beyond the 40 are all taken up on the questions page, where you can also request an airport transfer quote 24/7 from the form at its foot. Nothing there asks you to decide on the spot. When the day and flight time are settled, book your airport ride to MCI on the full request page, or call the office at +1 (816) 842-4783 while the phone is open.
