Kansas side, one bridge
Johnson County and its neighbors: reserve an airport transfer from Overland Park to MCI
Over the I-635 bridge
An airport transfer from Overland Park to MCI begins at your door and ends at the departures curb, with a single river crossing on I-635 between them. Kansas City, Kansas, and ten Johnson County cities share that crossing, from Merriam and Mission out to Leawood and Olathe. Read the table, send a request, and reserve only once the written fare for your street suits you.

CE Travel Services is an independently owned booking office in Kansas City. On the Kansas side, a local company with its own cars drives you at the fixed rate printed on your written fare; your payment goes to it, and it pays the office for each booking it receives.

Across the Missouri River on I-635
MCI stands on the north side of the Missouri River and every place on this page lies to the south, so each ride here has one river to cross. From Kansas City, Kansas, and the ten Johnson County cities beyond it, that crossing is the I-635 bridge. The car heads north to I-635, crosses the water there and carries on to the departures curb on the upper level of the single terminal. That shared crossing is why these eleven places sit on one page.
Times in the table assume a quiet hour on the roads. Kansas City, Kansas, is the shortest drive at 17.5 road miles and about 28 minutes. Overland Park comes to 30.0 miles and about 42 minutes, and Olathe, at 38.8 miles, takes about 51. The evening rush adds roughly half again, which stretches the Overland Park drive to about an hour, so an evening departure calls for an earlier pickup time.
If your address is in Lenexa, Bonner Springs, Edwardsville or Basehor, look one page over. Those towns reach the river at the I-435 bridge near Parkville instead, so an airport transfer from Lenexa to MCI is laid out separately, with its own miles and figures.
At home, before the car pulls up
On the way out, the car comes to the street address you type on the request. If the way in is hard to see from the road, because of a shared drive, a side entrance or a gate, describe it in the note. After you say yes to the written fare, the company confirms the pickup with you in writing, and the pickup time in that confirmation is the one to plan the morning around.
With the call and text box ticked, the office and the company may phone or text the number on the request about this ride and nothing else, so keep that phone on and close by. By the pickup time, have these ready:
- Bags packed and by the door
- Everyone counted against the car: up to 3 in a sedan, up to 6 in an SUV
- Your own child seat, unless the written fare lists one from the company
- A service animal, mentioned in the note
- Any second stop, asked for on the request

Landing at MCI, then south over the bridge
Coming home, the car meets you at the Commercial Curb, posts 3J to 3N, and the walk from baggage claim is laid out on the airport pickup at the arrivals curb at MCI page. Put the flight number on the request and the company can track that flight; the written fare says how the wait after a late landing is counted. Ticked, the call and text box brings a text when the car is there; unticked, that note arrives by email and the driver alone uses your number on the day. The reservation stands once the company confirms the pickup in writing, and that confirmation is the message to keep open. From there the car heads south over the I-635 bridge: about 28 minutes to Kansas City, Kansas and 51 to Olathe at a quiet hour.
How to read the sedan and SUV figures
Where this page says from, it means $120 per car, each way. That is the sedan figure for Kansas City, Kansas, the nearest place at 17.5 road miles. Olathe, the farthest, starts from $165 for a sedan and from $200 for an SUV, each way. Overland Park falls between, from $150 for a sedan and from $180 for an SUV. Each figure covers the whole car in one direction, however many seats are filled.
A printed figure is where the charge for the ride itself from that place starts; the car company's written fare for your date and pickup time is the amount you accept. It takes in the drive, the fuel, the car for you alone and the waiting time named on the written fare. Gratuity stays out of the printed figure, and where a company's rate includes it, the written fare sets it on a line by itself before you accept. Outside it sit extra stops, waiting past the named time, the airport trip fee if the company adds one and a child seat if the company charges for it; each stands on the written fare before you say yes. The figures hold through every week of the year, and the written fare tells you if the company's rate differs on a holiday date.
None of these rows is what you finally accept. Once your request is in, the office asks a local car company for a written fare and emails it to you. That fare is the company's fixed rate for your ride and stays fixed once you accept it; before your yes, you can withdraw the request without owing anything. The airport transfer rates to MCI per car for every part of the metro sit together on one page.

Everything above describes the road; the request is how a fare for your street reaches you. Send it when the flight is known. The written fare arrives by email first, and the company's confirmation follows in writing after your yes. The form takes requests 24/7.
